Just when most of us least expected it, Simon C.  struck again! Only this time, in a good way…

Matt Giraud, or Matt G. as my dear friend, Ryan Seacrest, puts it, has always been my favorite. He’s not perfect (vocally, I mean) but his flaws just make him even better… or maybe it’s just me…

I used to like (even adored!) Adam but he’s been getting pretty ridiculous lately… I have nothing against gay people (in fact, one of my bestfriends is gay) but he just acts SO gay. I mean, one could be gay without actually shouting it out, right?

Anyway…

I also liked Danny Gokey but he’s been getting more predictable…

Back to Matt…

Honestly speaking, I don’t think he would win this contest. First, he’s clearly not a favorite (of fans and judges) since he seems to be pretty close to the infamous chair (remember when he sang “Let’s Get it On”? couldn’t believe he would land the bottom 3!). Second, his genre isn’t for the common people who vote (yes, he’s got more class)…

In spite of these, I think he would get a good break after American Idol…
